For example, you want to know about someone’s profession. In Nabagraha Nadi, you need to take Saturn as the karaka or significator of the profession. 

Now, look at the below chart, Saturn is in the Aries sign. When looking at a chart with Saturn in the Aries sign, it is important to take Saturn as the Lagna and make it neutral, meaning it is only seen as a representation of the native’s profession. In Nadi astrology, Saturn has many significations, but for the purpose of this analysis, we will focus solely on Saturn’s role in the native’s profession. By making Saturn neutral, we can determine who is influencing the native’s professional life and how it is affecting them.

• Now see in which sign Saturn is placed
• In which house it is placed (if the birth time is available)
• Which planets are influencing it

Here Saturn is in the Aries sign. Now, what type of professions Aries sign signifies? It shows any work related to administration, defense, engineering, and professions related to metal. So, the first thing that comes to mind is that this native will be connected to any profession related to Mars.

Now, if the person’s Lagna is also aries then Saturn is the lord of 10th and 11th lords, and Saturn is placed in this Lagna itself. So, Sun + Mars + Jupiter: Father + Short Tempered + Social Status

As a result, the native’s father is from a respected family and has status, position, and prestige in society he is well known and has good connections with the government and higher authorities (depending on the strength of the planets) but, is very short-tempered.
